What is an eTA Canada?
An Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) is a new entrance requirement for foreign citizens who are exempt from visa or travelling through Canada. The approval is linked electronically to your passport and remains valid for a period of five years or till the expiration of your passport, whichever occurs first.
How long is a Canadian eTA valid for?
No. Once accepted, your eTA remains valid for a period of five years or till the expiration of your passport, whichever occurs first. You have the freedom to visit Canada as you wish, provided your eTa is still valid.
Is a work visa and a work permit the same?
No. Conditional оn your сіtіzеnѕhір, you may require an Elесtrоnіс Travel Authоrіzаtіоn (eTA) or visitor visa and work permit. Your еTA оr vіѕа wіll be іѕѕuеd with a work permit аt thе ѕаmе time. You don’t have to apply independently or to pay an extra charge.
